Geneya

Geneya

Receptionist

Genaya is our cat lady extraordinaire. She started as a weekend cleaner and worked her way up to be a veterinary assistant. When she is not playing with her cats, cuddling with cats, working with cats, or talking with cats, she is most likely sleeping (surrounded by cats). She also studies piano and art in her spare time.

Dana

Dana

Receptionist

Dana’s been at Dewdney Animal Hospital since 2009. She loves her job and can’t get enough of all the little furry creatures she meets, but Shih-Tzus have her heart. I Shih Tzu not! When not working she loves spending time with her family and her beautiful grandbabies. She loves to craft especially macrame and in summer most weekends are spent camping, quadding and fishing.

Tonya

Tonya

Veterinary Assistant Technician

Tonya has been in the veterinary industry since 1997 and joined our amazing team in January 2014. When Tonya is not caring for or loving up the animals at the clinic (especially the cats) she can be found volunteering with the Lower Mainland Network For Animals, camping, entertaining friends, gardening, canning, exploring the forests with her beloved rescue dog or snuggling her two cats.

Jerrika

Jerrika

Assistant

Jerrika is a graduate of the VOA program at Douglas College. She has always had a love for animals and decided to pursue a career with them. When she’s not at home snuggling with her two cats, you can find her catching up on the latest primetime T.V show, sitting outside with her dogs enjoying a good cup of tea, or out in the baseball diamond playing a classic game of ball.

Kathleen

Kathleen

Receptionist

“Kat” has worked at Dewdney for 13 years. She has built strong relationships with the long time clients and the new alike. She will help you answer any questions and assist you and your pet to the best of her ability. When not at work, she hangs out with her two German Shepherds and her Sheltie, running the trails, or working in her garden.

Gabrielle

Gabrielle

Lead Technician

Gabrielle wants to live in a world filled with chihuahuas, bearded dragons and axolotls. Aside from these being a few of her favourite things, Gabrielle has worked in the vet industry since 20111. She spent her first years as an assistant in specialty practice, then completed the veterinary technician program at TRU in Kamloops. Gabrielle has worked at Dewdney Animal Hospital since 2014. She now splits her time between Dewdney and the Vancouver Aquarium, where she gets to expand her knowledge working with a vast array of species. Outside of work, you can find Gabrielle doing photography, going on walks or hanging with her family (furred and non-furred alike).
